16/08/2022

For the very first time in Pakistan the Directorate of Archaeology & Museums, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa is introducing 3D scanning of historic buildings/monuments using HBIM process that produce intelligent models containing and managing information.
These models are showing components including their geometric and identifying information, and all the physical properties that are not purely geometric, such as historical information, analysis of degradation or deformations and accuracy, precision and quality of representation.
It is the result of DOAM’s continuous focus on research and development in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage..
